Well, if it isn't a very handsome bad business boy.
Today's update was brought to us by Shizamura, the wonderfully talented creator behind O Sarilho - which if you haven't read before, geez are you in for a treat. In an age of mobile digital comics that purely use a vertical scrolling format, O Sarilho makes fantastic use of what a digital medium can accomplish. We won't spoil much here, but suffice to say that Shizamura's periodic animations make an already stunning comic pop! Plus, the story is absolutely bursting with culture.
Here's the TL;DR on O Sarilho:
"An alien gets shot in the face four times and for some reason that starts a war."
I guess if you want a longer synopsis you can try this other handy description, straight from the author:
"A ancient satellite falls into enemy territory. The Kirchhoff brothers, Mikhail and Nikita, are dispatched along with a small team of soldiers to collect the remains of this relic, thought to be in space for over five hundred years. But did not consider that, just beyond the edge of the empire, their enemies would be interested on that technology as well…
As they arrive on the location, they quickly realize that the satellite is the least of their problems. Turns out an unknown, extraterrestrial artifact has crashed alongside it. And the thing thinks.
O Sarilho means knot, entanglement, or a twist. It also means trouble. It is a story of war, conflict, and facing the unknown."
