And so, Issue 6 comes to a close. 

We know this chapter ends with a bit of a cliffhanger. What happens to Brookville's survivors? What about Quietus? Where will the gang head next?  Normally this is really the kind of thing we talk about on our Patreon -- but for once we'll leave some juicy bits here!

To start things off: What comes next? Well, Issue 7 of course! It'll just take a bit of time.

Prior to Covid we had a lot of different plans for how we were going to approach filler, but with so much life getting turned upside down we were forced to alter our original goals. The good news is that Issue 7 is officially on track, and will slowly be coming to life over the next few months. No major spoilers here, but it's worth noting that we'll be putting Brookville's Quietus behind us. For now.

Normally we have a lot of fun stuff ready for when it's time for filler, but life really caught us off guard on this one. With that said, here's what you can look forward to in place of some of our regular updates:

• Behind the scenes character details
• A short story covering the survivors in Brookville, following the events of Issue 6
• Progress updates on Issue 7
• Occasional posts in support of our fellow comic creators

If there's ever a week where we can't think of anything meaningful to post, we'll try hard to direct you to another comic we think you'll love. There are so many talented creators out there. We're confident we can find you something great.

We'll be rolling out these posts regularly during our normal Wednesday, but if you want to follow more Folklore we recommend checking us out on Twitter or going over to our Patreon where we upload progress reports at least once a week! You don't even need to support us to enjoy most of our posts -- though we'd love your support, if you'd like to lend a hand in Folklore's creation.

Lastly, we'd love to know what you think! We honestly don't get a lot of feedback on Folklore, and always kind of assume that you're enjoying the ride...but while this story has a goal, we know there's room for improvement. Is there something you want to see more of? A part of the world you'd like to learn more about? A character you love or hate? Let us know! 

We're so excited for what's to come. We're so proud of how this story arc came together, and can't wait to share more in the future.
